A Two vehicle crash happened at Harlem & Howard streets Friday night involving a Jeep SUV & a smaller Toyota Matrix minivan.
Niles first responders were on the scene, including police & fire plus an ambulance and towing company to take both vehicles from the scene. The Toyota sustained heavy front end damage while the Jeep was impacted on the passenger side.
The occupants of the vehicles were seen on the sidewalk after the accident, no word on any injuries. The accident was not a major one but did block the intersection for over an hour while crews did their work of investigation and cleanup as the Toyota's radiator was pierced and leaked fluids.
