Tenant Who Received Eviction Notice Charged With Chicago Murder of her landlord.

Charges have been filed against a 36 year old woman in connection with the death of a woman whose remains were found in a freezer on the Far North Side.

Sandra Kolalou was charged with murder & concealment of a homicide, according to Brendan Deenihan, chief of detectives, during a Wednesday evening news conference.

The body of Frances Walker was found Monday in a residence in the 5900 block of North Washtenaw Avenue after she had been reported as missing for more than 24 hours.

Sandra Kolalou lived in the home as a room renter with the deceased and had apparently been given an eviction notice by her landlord, Frances Walker on Saturday, according to other tenants who lived in the residence.

According to other tenants, there was some fear of the individual charged and Mrs. Walker was heard screaming Sunday. The tenants attempted to figure out what was happening and the charged defendant apparently sent text messages from Mrs. Walker's phone.
