Calumet Heights Woman With Conceal & Carry Shoots Would Be Car-Jackers.

Chicago woman with concealed-carry license foils attempted carjacking by shooting man in head, he remains in critical condition.

The woman, who is reported to be 23 years old was sitting in her vehicle on the south side of Chicago, in the Calumet Heights section when 4 would be robbers spilled out of a vehicle. One of the men drew a gun ordering her out, as she opened fire, hitting the suspect in the head, then fled on foot, as she was shot in the arm.

She was later taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital in fair condition. The man who she shot in the head was reportedly taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, though the woman's other three attackers escaped from the scene.
