Heavy Police Activity Dempster & Austin Morton Grove

There was a Three Town Response To a Police scene Late Tuesday Night on Dempster Street % Austin Avenues late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Morton Grove, Winnetka & Evanston police were present at the scene which had several blocks along Dempster blocked off to traffic.

According to Evanston Community Police, the scene and blocking off of traffic was due to an accident, although no vehicle debris was visible at the time of the recording of this story.

There was yellow crime scene tape on the strip mall just west of Austin on Dempster, with one area in particular taped off 2x, giving the impression that something had occurred at that particular location, but that was not verified by any village official.
