Niles Village Hall Renovation Complete

Image

The Village of Niles has finally completed the renovastionwork to the front of the Village Hall entrance.

It's a strange design with steel beams for decoration that do not provide any shelter from weather nor are there any places to sit.

The older setup allowed for ways for cars to get to both the Post Office and Village Hall, but now you have to drive further into the complex to then turn right to get to the post office and hall, with less room for cars.

The pedestrian walkway is sure to be confused as a driver access point, leading to a potential collision with pedestrians or village property.

Many resident have questioned the cost of this operation and why it was even necessary in the first place, with property taxes constantly on the rise, governments should be looking for ways to save, not waste taxpayer money. Now that the project is complete, one can say with virtual certainty that the older setup was much better, less confusing and more efficient.
