Octoberfest at St. John Beowulf in Niles This Weekend

Octoberfest at St. John Beowulf in Niles kicked off this Friday and runs thru Saturday this Weekend

The Friday festivities were highlighted by local Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute band Wall of Denial.

The band played many SRV songs, including ones this reporter knows how to play on bass and drums as well.

There
was a pump-it-up style inflatable castle for kids to play in and a beer
garden setup in the parking lot of St. John Beowulf, located on Harlem
Avenue at Monroe in Niles.

The Octoberfest runs thru Saturday, from 1-11 PM with similar attractions and another yet to be named music band playing.
