Social Media Threat To Gemini Middle School

According to a press release by the principal's office at Gemini Middle School, there was a Social Media Threat To Gemini Middle School this morning in which a student posted a picture of a gun with the caption 'gonna shoot up this school'.

According to the press release, administrators were dispatched to the student's house and Niles police were notified.  The threat was deemed 'not credible' after an initial investigation by school authorities and Niles police.

The release further stated that there is no threat, everyone is safe and the student is not on the campus today.
