Two Vehicle Collision at Dempster & Harlem Saturday Dec 18 2021

A Two Vehicle Crash at Harlem
& Dempster on the Niles & Morton Grove Border occured at approximately
3:40pm Saturday, December 18, 2021.

A
red 1994-1998 Pontiac Grand Am collided with a late model Nissan SUV. The
Grand Am was no doubt totaled with front end damage, the Nissan
sustained drivers side damage to the door, fender & front bumper.

Both Niles & Morton Grove
emergency services responded to the accident with no less than 8
responding vehicles on the scene. Traffic was diverted around the
accident scene initially, then allowed to pass thru. EMS personnel were attending to the driver of the Pontiac, who did not appear to be injured, but was quite shaken and emotional.

A teen female was the driver of the Pontiac, who was visibly shaken and crying, and a bearded, white male the driver of the Nissan. Neither driver had any comment for this story. There did not appear to be any injuries to either driver, and there were no other occupants of the vehicles, although there were two others, either friends or family who were consoling the driver of the Pontiac.
