East Maine District 63 Following IL Covid-19 Mandates

On February 6, 2022, District 63 issued a press release regarding the status of it's COVID mitigation policies that addressed a Jan. 4 TRO ruling by a judge in Sangamon county, that said certain school districts that had enjoined within a lawsuit did not have to follow the State's COVID mitigation policies.

East Main District 63 was not part of that lawsuit, anticipates the IL AG to appeal the ruling and will continue to abide by the State's COVID mitigation policies of masks, updated shot records and contact tracing.

There will be no change to the District's COVID mitigation policies at this time, was the message relayed to parents of students who attend District 63 schools.
