Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 To Keep Mask Mandate

After a Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 Board meeting ended in a tie, the mask mandate will
remain in effect for all elementary schools within the district, pending further legal review as things move thru the court system.

After a downstate IL judge in Sangamon county issued a TRO siding with several school districts who had joined a lawsuit challenging IL Governor J.B. Pritzker's Statewide school mask mandate, local school districts who were not part of the suit have been scrambling to decide
how to move forward with mask rules.
