Car Show at Sawmill Station in Morton Grove Draws Hundreds of Car Owners and Enthusiasts Friday, July 29, 2022.
All manner of vehicle was on display from cars, suvs, trucks, motorcycles.
American, European and Asian cars were present. Lots of cars had modified engines, built for drag racing, others had fancy paint and rims schemes, some with undercar lights, while many cars were stock. Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, Subarus, BMWs, Nissans, DSMs, Acura, Toyota, Honda all makes were represented with several hundred cars and people in attendance.
Morton Grove police were also on hand to make sure the festivities did not get out of hand, as the event was pre-planned and the village gave a permit to the event organizers, who had to pay for the police presence. The crowd was controlled, with many vaping and revving their engines with a few drivers spinning their tires and getting a talking to by the police as well.
