Two Planes Nearly Collided Over the Skies of Chicago Tuesday

While at Montrose Beach Two Skywriting Planes Were Viewed Crossing Each Others' Paths.

One plane was flying westbound from the lake towards Chicago, the other northbound over the lake headed southbound over the lake.

Observers guessed less than 500ft separated the two planes as they converged upon each others' location, setting up the dramatic footage taken live as it played out on the shores of Lake Michigan over Montrose and Foster beach in Chicago on August 23, 2022.
