High Winds Blow Thru Area Saturday Causing Damage

High Winds Blew Thru Area Saturday Knocking Down Trees, Signs, causing minor damage.

Winds were reported as high as 45mph in some places including O'Hare, causing planes to have to modify their landing procedures to deal with sudden strong wind gusts.

Planes were heard winding their engines much more so than usual in the area to deal with the extreme winds.

Signs were blown over at local businesses, fences blown either partially or completely over, plants and chairs strewn about through out local neighborhoods as well.
