Breaking News: Student avoids attempted kidnapping in Glenview

WGN-9 is reporting that a female student who had just gotten off a school bus was grabbed and wrestled to the ground by an unknown assailant in Glenview at Milwaukee & Kennicott.

The school where the student goes to is Springman Middle School student in Glenview.

The offender, described as either white or hispanic fell to the ground, where the targeted victim hit the offender, who then ran off. The victim was uninjured, according to Glenview police.

The male suspect was last seen entering an SUV-style vehicle and fleeing south on Milwaukee Avenue. No further detailed description was provided.
