Two Late Model Vehicles Were Involved in a Collision Friday Afternoon at the intersection of Shermer & Greenwood in the North Shore suburb of Morton Grove at around 4:40pm.
A late model Ford Fusion & Subaru Outback were involved, with the Ford sustaining the heavier of the damage. EMS, Fire and Police were on the scene within minutes and one of the drivers, presumably of the Ford was in the EMS ambulance while a gentleman thought to be the driver of the Subaru was seen mingling on the sidewalk close to that vehicle.
No additional information was gotten on the condition of the driver who was in the EMS ambulance, but the ambulance was on-site for the entire 10 minutes this roving reporter was.
The nearest hospital to the crash site is Lutheran General Hospital on Dempster Avenue in Park Ridge.
