Chicago Man Sentenced to 20 Years For Facebook Marketplace Robberies

Tuwayne Bell Faced Over 20 Robbery Charges which were consolidated into 2 guilty pleas in exchange for the 20 year sentence and dropping of most charges.

Mr. Bell would use Facebook Marketplace to arrange meet-ups for selling and buying goods, then would display a handgun, and either take money or goods from his victims.

Mr. Bell pled guilty to two counts of armed robbery in exchange for dropping of 18 other charges, and accepted a 20 year sentence to begin immediately in Cook County.
