Breaking News: Marcel Brown, who spent nearly a decade in prison for a murder he did not commit, was awarded $50 million by a federal jury on Monday in his lawsuit against the City of Chicago and two police detectives.
His attorneys told FOX32 that he was inside an interrogation room for more than 30 hours.
He was banned from receiving legal councel, given very little food, and his phone call request to call his family was denied.
The Federaljury saw what happened in the interrogation foom as mental and psychological coercion, and that his Constitutional rights were violated.
