Dolton Mayor & Boyfriend Get Into Brawl

A Thornton Township meeting was thrown into chaos after a resident activist called her an unsavory word and appeared to walk in her direction.

Henyard's married boyfriend then took exception to the activist's chosen word & swung on the activist, leading to an all out brawl in which Henyard also got involved in.

The physical altercation happened during the public comment section of the Tuesday night's Thornton Township Board of Trustees meeting, described by residents as 'disgraceful.'

According to multiple witnesses and news video, community activist Jedidiah Brown had called Supervisor Tiffany Henyard an expletive and when he appeared to walk toward her, her supporters jumped in. The result was an all-out brawl that multiple witnesses say
involved Henyard herself.

"It should never happen. I just couldn't believe that it came to that," said resident Gerald Williams.

"It was one thing when the guys were fighting, but when she jumped in it, I was taken aback. I was floored," said resident Alicia Nichole.
